Photos - EJIGBO-3 torture suspects finally paraded...
10 suspects implicated in the EJIGBO 3 torture incident were today paraded during a press conference held this morning at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) offices in Lagos. The 10 suspects included the Babaloja and Iyaloja who ordered the torture of the 3 women victims. The press briefing had in attendance Dr Joe Odumakin, head of Women Arise for Change Initiative, Police PPRO Frank Mba, Anti-robbery squad DCP Chris Ejike and Ngozi Braide, Lagos police PRO. VIDEO: Ugandan kids dance group doing their thing on the streets

This video clip sure did put a smile on my face this morning. This video showing some Ugandan kids dancing on the street further strengthens my belief that aside from the geographical boundaries that separate us in Africa, there is a common thread running through us all especially via music and dance. They could easily pass for kids from any part of black Africa as their dance style(s) mirror the current vibe all over the continent. Nigerian Shola Olatoye appointed head of New York City housing authority..
The Mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, has
appointed a Nigerian to head the city’s Housing Authority in his bid to
overhaul the previous administration’s housing policy. Shola Olatoye would serve as the new chair of the New York City Housing Authority, NYCHA. Mr. de
Blasio said his administration is working towards building and
preserving 200,000 units of affordable housing over the next decade to

In this video clip, the late Ghanaian broadcaster Komla Dumor talks about his African story and his special relationship with Nigeria at TEDx Houston. A memorial service was held in his honour last week in London. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
